福生ドッグの定義は…

福生市に会社を構えるハム製造会社「福生ハム」「大多摩ハム」、この２社でのみ作られる福生ドッグ専用のソーセージを必ず使用していること。
It must be made using sausages made exclusively for Fussa Dogs by Fussa Ham and Otama Ham, two ham manufacturers based in Fussa City.
ソーセージの大きさは、長さ16㎝ 太さ23mmと決められている。
(The size of a sausage is set at 16cm in length and 23mm in thickness.)
長さの16㎝は、国道16号線から来ている。
(The 16cm length comes from National Route 16.)
太さの23mmは、福生の語呂合わせから来ている。
(The thickness of 23mm comes from a pun on the name Fussa.)
横田基地は16号線メインで建てられている。
(Yokota Air Base is built mainly along Route 16.)
